The location of this trip is in Bijagua, a small and beautiful town. You will see a wonderful wildlife sanctuary in the valley, between of two volcanos, Miravalles and Tenorio where sloths and monkeys can be spotted very easy hanging out in the trees. The area is famous for Rio Celeste, waterfall inside Tenorio Volcano National Park.

Difficulty of Trails and recommendations
Easy to medium:
Some of the trails are a natural paths so you will be walking on dirt, rocks, tree branches and rocks. It does have a slight elevation climb and there are some steps you need to walk up. When it rains, it can get very muddy so wear closed-toed, preferably waterproof hiking shoes, jacket, extra outfit, sunblock bug spray, sunglasses, cap, snacks or energy bar.
What to bring:
Tennis shoes, comfortable clothes, binoculars, a rain poncho or sweater, insect repellent, sunblock, a change of clothes and a towel is a good idea as well.
