The drive takes you to the highlands of Guayabo, and the scenic beauty of the place increases as you approach the volcano; in addition to the landscapes of the farms and small towns where you will pass, they are authentic portraits of the true Guanacaste. The volcanic complex includes hot springs pools and saunas with healing properties, boiling mud, sulfur and vapors, steam, fumaroles, clay ponds, amazing waterfalls, and more. Miravalles Volcano Tour will take you to enjoy two impressive waterfalls located in the middle of the forest. To arrive, some part of the journey is made in a tractor, and later you will hike through the primary tropical forest. You will cross 40 meters hanging bridge with amazing views of the waterfall; during the hike, you can observe some of the local flora and fauna. The operation center offers all facilities like bathrooms, changing rooms, and a restaurant, where you enjoy your delicious typical lunch.

Hiking Level: Easy-Moderate
*Note: If you suffer from high or low-pressure problems, asthma, or any heart problem, please let our guide know and bring your medication with you. The hike is a level 1 – 2, easy to moderate, with some slopes to go up and down and stairs. It is not difficult, but your safety is first.
