La Leona waterfall on the Volcano (Rincón de la Vieja)
La Leona Waterfall is located in the small town of Curubandé, 20 minutes from Liberia in the province of Guanacaste,You will walk through cayons of volcanic formations, during the tour you will discover the vegetation of the dry forest and see some hidden caves, its water comes from the “white river” or “Rio Blanco” that finds its source in the skirts of the Volcano Rincón de la Vieja. The color of the water is just amazing, between blue and turquoise, which is explained by the presence of sulfur. It’s definitely a must in this area!

After pick up from your hotel you will be driven (1-2 hours depending on pick up location) up to Curubande on Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
We start walking approximately 9:00 am
End of the tour 12:00 PM
Lunch time 12:30 PM
If you add any other activity it will depend the time of arrival at the hotel
