Rincón de la Vieja Volcano Hike
Rincón de la Vieja Volcano Tour takes you to hike the biggest volcano in the Guanacaste mountain range. Located 1:30 from peninsula papagayo this experience can be shared with all the family. Discover the volcanic activity, waterfalls, flora, and fauna, and relax in the hot springs.
You will enjoy beautiful landscapes and experience walking by an active volcano where we can observe different species of monkeys and birds in natural habitat.
You can also see the different volcanic reactions, for example steam coming out of the earth, piles of boiling mud and water.
We will visit an impressive waterfall where you can swim and relax after the hike
After all this hiking we will probably have worked up quite an appetite! No worries! At this point you’ll enjoy a delicious Costa Rican buffet-style lunch and then relax hot springs and enjoy a volcanic mud bath.
After finishing your Rincón de la Vieja Volcano Tour, we can also stop in some of the souvenir stores for some shopping.
